Community Services Department

What We Do

The Community Services department extends the love of Christ to our local community through practical acts of service and compassion. We believe in meeting people’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, following Jesus’ example of serving others.

Our activities include:

  • Food Bank and Distribution: Providing food parcels and essential items to those in need
  • Soup Kitchen and Meal Programmes: Serving hot meals to the homeless and vulnerable
  • Clothing Ministry: Collecting and distributing clothing to those who need it
  • Crisis Support: Emergency assistance for families facing difficult circumstances
  • Home Visits: Regular visits to elderly, sick, or isolated community members
  • Community Events: Organising health fairs, back-to-school events, and holiday celebrations
  • Referral Services: Connecting people with additional community resources and support
  • Disaster Relief: Responding to local emergencies and natural disasters

We work closely with local organisations, councils, and charities to maximise our impact and avoid duplicating services. Our goal is to demonstrate God’s love in practical ways, building bridges between the church and the community.
